Kara Baumuller, NP Intern

Kara is a nurse practitioner intern who is finishing her last portion of training at NYU Rory Myers School of Nursing. Kara provides psychotherapy, medication management, and psychiatric evaluations to adults, children, and adolescents. She has a deep interest in working with clients through a supportive and non-judgmental approach. She works with clients collaboratively to empower them to develop and achieve their goals. Her individualized and integrative approach allows her clients their own self-exploration and psychological growth, allowing each client to lead a healthier holistic lifestyle.

Kara is passionate about providing children with a safe, therapeutic space to explore and receive support for their feelings, experiences, and relationships. Sensitive to her clients’ identity, culture, values and beliefs, her playful and lighthearted spirit allows her to build trusting relationships with both children and caregivers.
